Château de la Hulpe sous les arbres

Je trouvais le château joli mais tout de même un peu banal. Par-contre les deux arbres bien alignés et un peu penché vers le château m'ont interpellé. J'ai donc essayé de placer le bâtiment sous la protection des deux arbres.

D'où le grand angle et la prise de vue en contre plongée avec un genoux dans la rosée du matin.

En faisant cette photo, je me suis dis que le grand angle en contre plongé peut en quelque sorte rappeler la façon que nous avions de voir le monde lorsque nous étions tout petit, tout petit, et que tout paraissait tellement plus grand.

I thought the castle was nice but still a bit common. By contrary the two trees properly aligned and slightly tilted toward the castle stopped me. So I tried to put the building under the protection of two trees.

Hence the use of wide-angle and camera tilted upward with a lap in the morning dews.

In making this picture, I told myself that the wide angle and upward viewpoint can somehow remember how we were seeing the world when we were tiny Childs and everything seemed so much bigger.
